He covers the windows with black plastic to darken the room, then cuts a hole in the plastic. The scene outside the window is projected-sometimes upside down, sometimes right-side up, if he uses a prism-onto the opposite wall. His photos of the results are hauntingly beautiful as nature and cityscapes collide with beds, bookshelves, chairs, and doorways.
